This lesson introduces students to the concept of Grammatical Units of a Sentence, one of the most important topics in English grammar. Students will learn how sentences are structured and how different grammatical units work together to communicate meaning effectively.
The lesson explains the two major grammatical units of a sentence: the Subject and the Predicate. Students will learn how to identify subjects and predicates in different sentence structures and understand the roles they play in sentence formation.
The lesson further explores various forms of subjects, including nouns, pronouns, noun phrases, and subordinate clauses. Practical examples and class exercises are provided to help students develop confidence in analyzing sentence structures.
